That's a shame. Community Gardening is really catching on and deserves a forum, but winter is not the time to start, I guess. I belong to my town's Community Garden, but last time I walked down there, just before Christmas, the gate was padlocked. We are all shut out until the town reopens the garden in spring, historically mid May, which is way too late for some of us. The lock out is puzzling as several members expressed an interest in winter gardening this year. This will be a topic of discussion in the spring. Sighing!
“Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.” – Leo F. Buscaglia
