I just noticed, if you click to enlarge the picture, there is a wicked looking cactus on the left. But it is actually one of the so called paper spine cactus whose "spines" are "paper-like" so aren't wicked at all. I have several varieties of those in the ground and hoping they might put out some blooms too some day. They grow in fragile segments too and are easy to start new plants.
