Donna, there is nothing like looking for a tag on a seedling and it has gone missing. We go way beyond record keeping.............and yes, after success with the pollen...............you wait. So, missing tags are a big no-no after you spend so much time raising the seeds.....I mark the trunk, add a tag in the pot and a slip on tag around a branch. But is was a sad lesson to learn over the years.
