That's great Lorn. Ya know, there just may have been a Pseudoscorpion hiding in those bulbs. Big Grin Now wouldn't that be cool!

This year, I noticed a lot more color variations of stem bulblets (not bulbils) from the exact same individual plants, although colors weren't as saturated. Gosh, there were just so many different ways that different plants reacted to the unusual summer I had last season. I try to delay quick assumptions, but I hope a lot of those observations turn out to be Ahah! moments.

I'm not counting the chickens before they hatch, but I there ought to be plenty of material available for that dwarfish one. I'm pretty sure it produces ample stem bulblets, too. It was interesting to note that the white one in that group of four pics only rarely has stem bulblets.
