Sue, I know the odds are slim that your iris is this one...but it looks very similar. It has a bit of a story to it. I found it on the Iris Paridise.com website. It's called Prinzess Viktoria Luise and it's in the ATP database without any information except that it is the parent of Frivolite. Prinzess Viktoria Luise is not listed as a registered iris in the AIS database. It may be one of the early ones that never got registered. Frivolite is in the AIS database but does not list it's parentage. I don't know if there is a way to look up the person that entered Prinzess Viktoria Luise on ATP, but they might have some information about it.

The website owner might have some information too, if he speaks english. I don't remember what his name is, but someone here on ATP was familiar with him.

Anyway...the link only goes to the entire document so I'm going to post a screen capture along with the link. The fall color might not be right...it's hard to tell because of the lighting, but it has the yellow standards, the small but bushy and bright gold beard, the white rim around the fall...

If nothing else it's an interesting story of a nice historic iris!
