Rob, do you recall those beardless introductions from Ghio I think (?), that were said to grow in shade? There were 2 shown, a deep violet purple and an orchid lavender. When I saw your garden pics with all the azaleas, I envisioned those little shade lovers underneath. Don't think of it as furthering your Iris obsession, just think of it as working in some more colorful landscape plants for extending the bloom season....some just happen to be Irises...
