Did I tell ya'll the story of my newest flower beds and how I aquired them? Well...since I'm on a roll, I'll tell you.

My son in law brought home 3 of these big rectangular concrete things...they fit together..underground...I asked him if I could have a couple....He said no, he was going to use them for something. They sat there 2 years.

One day I said to SIL...Ken, when you move 2 of those rectangular jhings over to my yard how are you going to move them...they are so heavy!!

"don't worry about that...I have a "clam shell"...some kind of machinery that moves heavy stuff....he FORGOT he told me I couldn't have them...so he MOVED them for me!!! LOL

Then I got DGS to fill them with dirt..now I have talked a neighbor into giving me some horse poop to put in them and I need to buy some peat moss to ammend (I learned that word on DG from you nice people) that clay soil...THEN I plant onions...sooon! Send me some...heck..why not...I do like them! Jo I tip my hat to you.
