Yes. Those look right. They don't grow everywhere. On this place they mostly grow on the slope of a hill where limestone crops out and crumbles. Poor, thin soil deprived of iron and oxygen to a large degree. Sometimes they come up below that slope and then they are growing in bottom land which is really different soil. They've never spread enough to be classed as a nuisance plant. I thought maybe the plant would get taller and be more lush if it got a chance to grow in a civilized bed Smiling . Not every native plant is agreeable about being housed in a zoo, though, and don't adapt. They prefer to be wild.
