Kurt - Glad to hear about your success story growing your orchids! You reminded me that I have something similar to your shelving unit out on my screened porch. It was confiscated from the trash at a local fast food restaurant that was renovating their store. It had a little corrosion on it that I used a wire brush to clean and then I spray painted it silver and it looked brand new. I also have orchids sitting in pots on this shelving rack!

Your idea about using a timer on the lights is a terrific idea! And I love the idea of using cookie sheets under the pots with water added to provide humidity! Perfect solution for dry winter weather! Thumbs up Thumbs up Thumbs up
