It's a bit tricky for me too, in south AL. There's a window in the spring and in the fall, but definitely too hot during the middle of summer. During summer of '13, I tried a couple summer trades and received some green soup. I love a contribution to the compost, but not like that! LOL! April & May seems to be the sweet spot!
