Debra in the South West of England we get a lot of rain and often not a lot of sun. Some of the patterned daylilies don't like this and the patterns are not clear. Some don't open properly (Edge of Darkness has never had a decent bloom on it so it's going on the compost heap). Coloured edges often don't show here and teeth only appear if we have a long hot spell at the right time (we have only had one summer in the past 8 years when we have had prolonged sunshine).

Eight Miles High in 2013, lots of sunshine

And UFO during 2013
I haven't got rid of these 2 yet but I only have a small garden so every plant has to perform well as there are lots of daylilies out there to choose from.
