I found a bunch of Camassias growing wild along a stream bank, in bloom with hundreds of wild larkspur- it was gorgeous! I went back and dug a few of the Camassia, as they were more lavender than any I was already growing, and I wanted to try and identify the species. That was in 2013, and since they were moved in bloom, they died back too quickly and didn't bloom in 2014. The foliage grew well, so I'm expecting to see them this spring- fingers crossed!

There are patches of Lent Lily (Narcissus psuedonarcissus) and 'Van Sion' Daffodils in the grass here. I've moved some to the garden, and this year will move more. Lent Lily is usually the first Daff to bloom here, so I need them sprinkled through the garden! I read in Old House Garden's catalog that Van Sion can have a different bloom form after being divided- I've only seen the fully double form, with greenish segments, but the pic in the catalog showed a cupped Daff, with a cup full of petaloids.
