Nice hauls!
I couldn't help but pick up a few orchids at the St. Louis orchid show last weekend.
Prosthechea vitellina x2 plants (these are so rare that I bought both that he had left). Both have bloom sheaths.
Dendrobium peguanum - awesome little plant and this one has GREAT color. Usually they are bland colored. This one has a lot of deep purple.
Dendrobium amethystoglossum - in bud with a lot of spikes.
Rlc Kozo Scarlett - I'm a sucker for reds and even though fading, the form on the flower is quality.
Epicattleya Rene Marques 'Flame Thrower' HCC/AOS - this is an excellent clone that has the potential for an AM. I'm growing it for a specimen.
Barkeria whartoniana - this was a present for hubby. They are challenging to grow so I thought he could use one.
Dendrobium trantuanii - I have had such a hard time growing this one. The vendor had a large 3 growth plant in bud so I couldn't resist.
Rhyncattleanthe Sylvia Wagner - Excellent small red mini-catt BS.
Rhyncattleanthe (Rlc Memoria Ralph Placentia 'Toreador' AM x Rth Elaine Taylor 'Krull Smith' FCC) - Superb small red mini-Catt BS.
All excellent plants that have award potential. I'm so excited!
