I will be moving to Cherokee Village soon and am not a rock grower, I love Lilacs and Dogwoods but I don't know how they will fare in poor soil and colder weather than Memphis? Although maybe that's just what Lilacs like. The Magnolias that I saw were stunted. Any suggestions otherwise?
