I found those piggies for $8 ea. I was stoked.
The good news is the fire is still moving away from Parks and is now 30% contained. Obviously it is smoky but the smoke is following the fire for the most part, not blowing back on us. My neighbor says it is bearable...just a whiff in the air. All the news people are in Parks right up Spring Valley Road. Everyone is hoping the winds don't pick up again until they can get more of a handle on things. Alas, that area is always windy so it is bound to return. Thank goodness I had cleaned up all the pine needles around the house and trimmed up some trees last week. The forest service will work harder to protect a house that has followed the standards for living in the forest than one that has not. The hardest part of living up there is taking down the trees you moved up there to be in but it is just to dangerous to let them be too close to the house.
The reason most people fail instead of succeed is because they give up what they want most for what they want at the moment.
