Looks like I will be putting up some squash puree this weekend too. Yep Alan, I have gone from farming houseplants to farming food. I love it. I am going to put in another bed this fall hoping to have enough veggies to trade for eggs and chicken meat to augment the fish and elk meat. My goal is to buy as little as possible from big business farms what with all the cwrap they are putting on and in our foods. There is a lady at the farmer's market by me that asked if I would grow spinach for her. She wants to trade me her habanero salsa and her enchilada sauce for the fresh spinach. She runs a small company out of her home in Gilbert. Look what you started McP...
