The reports have fluctuated by the hour and source... so who knows what the actual temps are going to end up being. I will be keeping a close eye for sure. I live about 30 minutes northwest of Austin and if those temps are anywhere near freezing I will not be taking any chances.
Donald, I like hearing your weather forecasts. You are like a northern Texas sentry warning to us guys south of you that it is coming our way. I guess I will be waiting for the live oaks to tell me when spring is really here. I have never seen a live oak lie.
Sandi, my yard looks torched too, with splattering of green and some blooms. This time of year my garden does not make much sense at all. I need more ever greens. I planted some fescue seeds this fall to help with some greening up through winter, but the seeds are just now doing something, but only in random patches

Ken, I live in the south for a reason. Just so I can complain year round that it is either too cold or way too hot. I am starting to think that maybe I just like to complain. I will never live in an area that I will be fined for not shoveling my snow
