Well, mushrooms aren't really considered "plants." So there isn't a whole lot of information here. But from the bit that I personally know, you want to be VERY careful trying to grow edible mushrooms where there are live oaks. The very deadly Amanita phalloides just love to grow where there are live oaks. Be VERY CAREFUL!
