Here is what a lifetime gardening (40+ years) person has learned to do. I have had to figure out easier ways to do things in my old age.
I have a wooden bin that is separated by hardware cloth. When one side of the bin gets pretty full - I just start feeding the other side. The worms go through the wire mesh to the other side to get to the food. And I have worm free castings. Or almost, takes a few days, depending on how much food is left on the full side.
