Thanks, snarfie, for affirming my Peacock a healthy plant.

Barbara, you have a point that some bulbs take a long while to grow roots. I believe the other rot bulb (Celebration) actually didn't grow any new root. The rotted roots were old dry brittle ones when it arrived. The Peacock also had few old roots rot, but had grown lot new good ones. I hope the Cele survives (still kind of soft, no foul smell though) and starts to grow new roots and leaves soon...
If a plant looks good, smells good, don't eat it, grow it!
