We replaced our AC unit last year. Our thermostat is always set at 78 and we are not using as much energy. However, I do like it a bit cooler at night so ocassionaly I'll drop it a couple of degrees after Deb goes to bed and reset it in the morning before she gets up. ssssssh
I have to start making plans to remodel our kitchen. We still have builder basic appliances that are now 6 years old. I'm sure we can do a lot better energy wise with new ones. Then maybe I could drop the night time temps a little more often!
