Exactly my point! They tell us to conserve energy, but when we finally start getting the price of everything down because of how much we conserve, they raise the price, because they are not making enough money off of us to support there desires. Notice I said desires, NOT needs! So why do we save, when we save they just raise our prices more. I've lived in the same house for 19 years. I've put double insulation in the attic. Went to the highest seer air conditioner I could get. Changed over to energy star appliances completely throughout the home. Added a roof system that is suppose to keep my attic much cooler so the shingles on my roof don't wear out as fast. Thousands and thousands of dollars we are talking about here. My SRP bill is still more than it was when I bought the home 19 years ago. It's sickening! And I'm keeping the house hotter even...85 degrees during the day. Ridiculous when I'm home. Especially with it as muggy as it has been this year.
