OK we only saw it once, and are going back with the realtor for a more in depth look at the whole place. The owner was kind enough to show up around unannounced.
I believe the pond gets a lot of shade. There is a little bubbler fountain at the beginning of the river - would that be the source? I don't believe you can even see the bottom, but could see a couple of gold fish swimming around so it wasn't completely opaque. She showed us some mosquito fish in the river. It is a fairly large layout, maybe 40 -50 feet altogether. But the "river" is not very wide.
The pond isn't a make or break on the deal. Just curious I guess as to what I would be getting into. Is there anyone in the pond club that does inspections and recommendations? (for pay of course.)
