The two plants are of different genera and species. I would imagine that they are confused quite often because I do see some of the same Google images for both names. I don't know enough about either to identify your plant, but I'm certain that there are differences in the bloom, the bracts, the foliage, and the habit. If I had to take a guess, I'd say that @Danita is correct.

If you aren't convinced, you could post one of the photos (or all of them) in the Plant ID Forum. The people there are good at seeing minor differences that are significant in making identifications.

If you decide that your photos should be moved, you can propose the move yourself by enlarging each photo, scrolling down to the "Actions" box, and clicking on "Move this image to another plant." You can also ask one of the admins to move your images for you.
