Got a call from my daughter last night around 11:30. Apparently Lulu got a bottle of Aleve out of her purse. She woke my daughter up with all the chewing on the bottle. Brooke thought she had a toy and got up to take it away from her and found the Aleve bottle. She thinks there were about 10 pills. She called me, I told her to call poison control. I had taken a sleeping pill so I was out of it. Poison control told her it is the worst of all the aspirin types for a dog to eat. My husband met her at the emergency animal hospital. They forced Lulu to vomit and have her on IV's. They want to keep her for 3 days. They are afraid of liver failure and stomach ulcers. The cost is going to be exorbitant :(
Just need everyone's well wishes that nothing happens...
It's also her 1st birthday today.
