My sedums think it's spring. It must be spring, right? Oh well, soon enough.

Color everywhere! And almost nothing died over the winter. I noticed that the lineare variegatums died back entirely like their larger cousins and the pachyclados receded pretty severely, but all the other groundhuggers kept a presence all winter.

Might have lost some of the mid-size ones, but I'm going to chalk that up to all the Grumbling Grumbling Grumbling feral cats tearing up my beds and plants so they can fail terribly at burying their excrement. SIGH.

I wish I had a good camera, I'd post some pics...but I'll the ones I'm getting from my phone for my visual log are kind of embarrassing compared to the ones y'all post Hilarious! . OK...maybe just one. Here's one of my front yard mixed sedum test beds, the smaller of the two:

(Make sure to click, it's a very wide pic).
There are also two types of jovibarba as well as a couple of vagrant semps in there as well that I had to move to keep away from the aforementioned plant hating ferals. I can't wait to see how everything fills in this year - chaos and color!
