Admit, I'm a bit stuck this morning.

Starting with Yellow...I don't normally purchase yellows for their color although I do like yellows in the garden. A few favorites...
Three Rivers Gold, a few years ago I won this in a raffle at a Lilyhemmer meeting.

Memories of Mother is a daylily I would consider to be voluptuous, one of our terms in the "V" thread.

Tall Blonde, a pleated yellow, has huge blooms and leather like substance with a waxy finish.

A new yellow last year was Extra Effort a sculpted cristate form. Really looking forward to seeing it bloom this year!

After looking these favorites up I wondered if there were any daylilies registered with yellow eyezones, there were.

Yellow Appliques

Yellow watermarks

You can search for more by using the Search for Characteristics section in the ATP Daylily Database and typing in the "color description" box what you are looking for.

And finally a why...."Y" does it always seem to happen...when I have pollen in my hand and I think of the perfect cross for using it...the daylily I want to use it on either has not begun blooming Yet this year or had blooms open Yesterday? Rolling my eyes.
