I got a bunch of plants on clearance a couple of years ago and they have flourished...in every OTHER yard I've transplanted them to! The birds and squirrels keep mine picked clean but the plants are beautiful. I think strawberry plants are super interesting, I love watching a bed of strawberries multiply even if I don't get anything to eat for my trouble.
