Just for everyone's information, and maybe why we can't find the info on the web...here is the official response from the Rose Bowl Parade coordinators: I've removed the email addresses to protect the innocent from the spam bots.

Hello Alan,

Thank you for your interest in the Pasadena Tournament of Roses.
Unfortunately, we do not have an answer for you either. There is no
official number of roses as each float is decorated by an individual
builder, and there are thousands upon thousands of various flowers used.

We can say that on average, 600 tons of steel, 5,000 gallons of glue and
18 million flowers are used to make the floats each year.

Hope this helps! I'm sorry we do not have better news for you.

Best,

Your friends at the Pasadena Tournament of Roses

Request/Comments: How many roses were used in the 2010 Rose bowl Parade?
I''''''''''''''''ve looked everywhere for an answer on-line, and
can''''''''''''''''t find an answer anywhere.
