I bought parsley, not fennel, to share with the butterflies. I'll have to look for fennel! I haven't grown it in a long time. It's perennial, so it should be hardy. It's the heat that gets the best of my garden in the summer. I also found tropical milkweed. I haven't put anything in the ground yet. I think I'll wait a couple of weeks. I remember a few really cold Easters hitting in past years.
I have a lot of seeds I haven't started yet. I do have good intentions. Whistling I find that buying the starters from the school is so much easier for me than fretting over tiny seedlings (that I invariably forget to water). My DH has an aversion to most vegetables.
Grandson's parental units have a lot of social functions, so we love having him here when they go out. We feel fortunate to have them so close to us.
Garbage guys have come and gone! Very appreciative.
