Hello everyone... a lot has been going on in my backyard as of late... removal of a citrus (that was all root stock and yucky fruit), a new gazebo, yard guys (yay!!)... now I get to spend what brief time I have actually enjoying myself out in my garden and planting, more than pulling... question is, I have this great, sunny area that would be perfect for sun loving tropicals, like my cannas... they spent a lot of time in the shade these past couple seasons due to pregnancy, birth, and a citrus tree that grows like heck due to root stock... ok, now here's the question... when is a good time to move them to this lovely sunny spot, and is there anything I should do to the soil to ensure their happiness?? Smiling Any info would be appreciated, and any suggestions for other full sun loving tropicals would be appreciated as well Smiling
Gardens... should be like lovely, well-shaped girls: all curves, secret corners, unexpected deviations, seductive surprises and then still more curves. ~H.E. Bates, A Love of Flowers
