Six plants from the 1 gerber plant. That's great. Congrats to you. Hurray! Arlene, I rooted a couple of pieces of persian shield in perlite in the fall for the first time. It's fairly easy. I failed to pot it up and bring it indoors, and now I'm not sure what happened to it. If I lost them, it's because of my neglect. I had a lot of family emergencies that took me out of town a lot, so my overwintering perennials/houseplants have suffered. I have got to convince DH to get me a greenhouse. Give it a try, you'll be wonderfully surprised at how easy it is. nodding
