I purchased a " Night Blooming Cereus" from Logee's a few years ago. At the time it grew well, no blooms, till something ate a large portion of it. I moved it into a pot then and this week I noticed my first bud. A few days later I glanced at the back of the pot and found two more buds. It was a total surprise I never noticed anything coming. Last night it was slowly opening so I set the alarm for 1:30 A.M. and it was open and the fragrance was heavenly!! I had intended to check again later in the night as it was not fully open but did not wake up. Two of the three buds opened last night. I hope they will reopen again tonight as I have read they may last 1-3 days. This plant is a keeper for sure. Thumbs up Thumb of 2010-09-21/quietyard/c5c2af
