If you have any Bearded Irises, you want to clean them out as soon as possible to allow the rhizomes to dry as much as possible. This helps to avoid rot. You also want to remove any dead leaves and discard them into the garbage, don't compost them as they may contain eggs from the iris borer. Smiling
