Modesto -The Central Valley of (Zone 9b)
Received these two aloes from friend (got from his neighbor) and had no idea what kind of aloe they are.

The first one came in a some sort of tall metal container w/o drainage. Should it be repotted in a shorter clay pot? The second came three of them ( big with baby) in a big (18") plastic self-water pot. Tinkering to repot them into three 10" clay pots and small pots for babies. Appreciate your ID and advice.
If a plant looks good, smells good, don't eat it, grow it!
