After studying you're question a bit more...My thoughts are that you germinated the seeds in some other way than sowing in soil/soil less mix? Like maybe on paper toweling?

If that is the case, I would drop those germinated seeds into small cells, with a seed starting mix. Maybe a 1/4 " depth. Make sure your mix is moistened first.

Hope this helps...though I am still a bit unsure of your question. Can you clarify?
