hi brenda,

thanks! i have found that the 5100K CFL's are the way to go. low energy consumption and good light output. i have run mine for 16 hours each day. i will continue to use them for the orchids, as the plumeria go outside for the summer.

this is where i will be ordering them from now. http://www.skaeser.com/servlet... you can see that you have ~ a 300-w incandescent. that's a lot of light!
