I do have a couple of little healthy back up ones growing in pots.
Dave, I wish it was a case of too much water. We didn't receive any rain in January and only one good weekend of a lot of rain in February. Plus, most of my iris beds are planted on a slope, especially the bed where Owyhee was planted. So there's no chance of pooling water. I do thank you for the tips!
When I start planting in my flat field, I will plant them on raised rows...or in raised beds.
