I received this PL a year ago last March. I had no problems with it until November. Leaves were turning brown at the end, some were turning brown on the side, some were spotty. I was concerned about what I can only describe as looking like a ginger root appearing above the soil. Someone told me to replant it so I did (you can still somewhat see it in one of the pics). I brought it home from my office since I have central heating and my house is a constant 69 degrees. It currently resides in a spare room about 6 feet from the windows with the blinds partially slanted and gets watered about once a week. It's been a month and a half since I brought it home and there hasn't been any improvement. I want to get it back in shape as I received it when my mom passed away. It also doesn't help that I do not have a green thumb but I'm trying. Please help! The picture where it's full and beautiful was taken in October. The picture where it's sparse and not so beautiful was taken this morning.
