http://www.entomology.umn.edu/... It's difficult because if you use a drench you have to time it right and make sure to repeat in two weeks. I'm just not that dedicated - heck I bought spray for deerproofing two years ago and I haven't even applied it yet
The good news is that if you identify the problem quickly, you can usually pluck the plant from the soil, inspect the roots and soil for the weevil, remove them and replant the Heuchera. They usually reroot quickly - of course it sets the plant back and you're basically starting all over again but at least sometimes you can save them
