I get exactly what you're saying about the symmetry and for once I can blame this one on the dh. I didn't even want to plant them in a row much less a row on each side but it was his birthday gift and that's how he wanted them planted so he got his wish. I used to go crazy if things weren't symmetrical but I've gained an entirely new perspective over the last number of years and want nothing to look like it was planted with any plan in mind.
