That's odd. I check out the Ask a Question forum frequently, and only just now saw this question. I don't know the answer, but you'd for sure want to wait until you didn't have to worry about the plants getting too cold in transit. Have you tried asking the vendor? If they're reputable, they would surely want the plants to get to you in good condition. I'd love to try a Venus flytrap again. We had one when I was a child, but it got fried from sitting too close to a sunny window.
