From what I've seen here they're almost impossible to kill...or contain. Ours sent out runners through the drain holes of the pot and took off across the yard. We've been battling it for almost 20 years now, and it's still winning the war. Whistling

Our pot was set into the soil halfway, so I'm pretty sure that would be fine where you are, too. Smiling
