Kevin, if I were still in my youth I would definitely be a candidate for taking on the procedures you've figured out to control pollination -- and who knows, I may still do it once. Still, my "new normal" doesn't leave as much time as I'd like to have for fussy work: I've done fussier things in the name of previous addictions!
