Due to traffic jam under fluorescents in basement 20 forcer pots are now awaiting bud/bloom formation in cool temps under lights. When bloom starts, they get moved upstairs to be appreciated. All of these were formally refrigerated necessary length of time (actually more than necessary). Moving them out of refrig allowed me to take some pots that were doing their cold period in the outside covered stairwell to basement into the refrig while I await room at table under fluorescents.
Under the stairwell remain a few totes of late acquired daffodils (from Brent and Becky's end of season half price sale). These particular cultivars were listed in groups of 25 but included some pricey ones (now at half price) that I thought it prudent to obtain to be forced, (as ground was frozen), enjoyed up close in containers, then relocated to garden for subsequent years blooming.
When these are brought forth blooming they should be super cool as they were planted in relatively large pots, some up to 25 per pot. I checked them yesterday and they appear fine and could probably be put into placement for cool time under lights before bloom, but alas, there's presently no room.

Nothing that's been done can ever be changed.
