The problem is not cold winters, ours are mild. We seldom see much snow. The issue is the lack of warmth in the summer, when we do have a long spell of sunshine there is an amazing difference in the appearance of daylilies with teeth or elaborate edges. Anyway I am looking forward to growing it and will post photos when it blooms.
