Regarding scent in Iris.. When I say fragrant, I mean that it smells nice... Some Iris smell like cat pee.. and I wouldn't call those fragrant unless I was being sarcastic.
Having a scent and having a fragrance are not necessarily the same.
I'm seeing a lot of stalks forming now.. Today 'Phalanx' opened with it's maiden bloom.
Yesterday, 'Champage Encore' opened..
I'm hoping 'Hint of Danger' will open tomorrow.
