I usually don't have good luck winter sowing them Ronnie, but this one didn't want to sprout indoors, so out it went.

I did (finally Sticking tongue out ) get a lot of (indoor) pansy sprouts this year, but of the ones that have sprouted so far, about 80% of them were primed seed purchased from Swallowtail Seeds...and this year I did not follow directions! For years and years I've tried them in darkness, with very little success, and now that I'm using light instead, I'm doing very well. Hurray!
Not sure if the priming process changed the light/dark parameters, but I'm going to go with what worked this year for future sowings as well.
