Daylilies
freedombel said:Last year I bought some orange daylillies, they are coming up nicely now, I planted them all around the bottom circle shape of
a old pedestal bathroom sink, last year it was a bird bath and this year it is going to be a water lily pond, well it is
not sitting perfectly level and my husband said he will move it and pour a slab of cememnt, and I told him no way, I
do not want to disturb my daylillies...he thought we would just tear them out! They are doing well right where they are
and staying put! Anyway, I read and enjoyed your story, and welcome, nice to meet you. Welcome!

Thanks, Linda. Nice to meet you, too! I tip my hat to you.

Seems like orange daylilies are polarizing-- people either love 'em or hate 'em. I love 'em. I have found daylilies can handle being dug-up and replanted quite well but if yours were just planted I support your protectiveness and would definitely let them settle-in undisturbed. I really like your creative sink lily pond idea, especially with the daylilies around it. Would love to see a pic and I hope it works out for you!
