Jeanne - Wow! Will you just look at all those beautiful flowers! My yard has blooms throughout the year, but not in mass bloom like yours. Mine is more subtle blooming times. I grow plants specifically for the butterflies and certain birds. And with my seedling daylily obsession, spurts of blooms, but not quite as pretty as all of your garden beds! Reaaalllly NICE!!!
Holly - I can relate (3 children). Except for the retirement ... I will never be able to stop working until I can't physically or mentally work any longer. I am alone on the gardening projects except for anything that has to be built. Then I have to try to explain it to my husband and work on him until he gives up and helps me.
I do everything on the cheap! And I am trying to do everything permanent (concrete, not wood), as I will not be able to replace anything wood down the road. So I figure out ways to make garden areas permanent and sturdy. My new motto is "Do it only once!"
